Friday 4 July, 2008 (The last day).
This is the good deed I did for today:
OK so it's the last day of this project and I have to think of something good and big to finish it off with a bang so I decided to do something nice for a friend. So I rang my friend Luke up knowing that he was doing his chores in the afternoon and he said sure. I went and mopped up the laundry, the entrance, the bathrooms and even cleaned his room! I know I made a difference because his mum said wow and thank you and so did my friend. I felt happy because he really needed some help and it always feels nice to help a friend. I think he felt very grateful because if I didn't help him it would have taken him an hour to do all his chores instead of taking only 20 minutes!

Day 16
Thursday 3 July, 2008
This is the good deed I did for today:
Today I pretty much ran out of things to do for my family so I was kind to my little fox terrier dog by taking her for a walk when I was doing my paper round because she hadn't been out all week due to rain. (Trust me doing both at the same time is not easy)! I know I made a difference because she was really excited but I don't know what she said besides Woof. I felt happy because she really needed a walk and I felt sorry for her. I think she felt happy because she was really excited and barked more than usual. (Probably because of birds).

Day 15
Wednesday 2 July, 2008
This is the good deed I did for today:
Today I was kind to my dad by helping him with the new recycling because I helped to sort and put all the bottles, papers, tins, etc. into the new recycling bin we got. I know I made a difference because he said thank you and we got the job done a lot quicker. I felt happy doing this because he needed the extra help. I think he felt pleased because he usually has to do all of this by himself.

Day 11
Saturday 28 July, 2008
This is the good deed I did for today:
Today I was kind to my little brother by supervising his birthday party at Xtreme tenpin bowling. I know I made a difference because he 'gestured' thank you to me and he said that he preferred me supervising him because I let them dive when they went to bowl. I felt nice giving my mum a break because there were too many to manage (20 to be exact) and otherwise if I didn't supervise them he would have had to have his birthday party at home. I think he was grateful because he had a really great time even though he didn't say thank you.

Day 4
Saturday 21 June, 2008
This is the good deed I did for today:
Today I was kind to my parents by vacuuming and cleaning their room without them asking because it was almost as messy as mine (and thats saying something)! I know I made a difference because they said they weren't expecting it and they said thank you. I felt happy doing something nice for my parents after everything they have done for me. I think they felt astonished that I actually did something useful for once -nah just jokes- and they were really grateful because they really needed it vacuumed.

This is the good deed I did for today:
Today I was kind to my friend Luke from room 10 because I offered and gave him my Juice box because he said he had no lunch and was thirsty. I know I made a difference because he said 'thank you' and gave me a thumbs up. I felt great helping out a friend knowing that he was thirsty. I think he felt grateful because he drank it in two seconds flat and said thanks. I'm sure he was very pleased.

Day 2
Thursday 19 June, 2008
This is the good deed I did for today:
Today I was nice to my family by making them all dinner which was baked beans on toast (the only thing I could make.) And then after the Macleans College open night I made my mum, dad and sister tea without being asked because they looked cold. I know I made a difference because the whole family said 'thank you' to me for doing this and smiled. I felt happy and really felt that I made their day as my mum had a migraine. I think they felt a bit baffled at first but then they realized I was for real and accepted it a bit hesitantly -especially my sister- but said they were grateful and I'm sure they were pleased.

This is the nice thing I did for today:
Today I was kind to my brother by writing out my little brother's birthday invitations for next week, promising to supervise his birthday party, and installing a computer game for him. I know I made a difference because he 'Gestured' thank you to me and
offered to help me clean my room in return (which I politely declined of course.) I felt happy to do something nice for my brother for once. And I think my brother was feeling a bit surprised and confused -as if 'what's the catch'- because he looked at me all funny, but I'm sure he was happy anyway!
