Day 17

Friday 4 July, 2008 (The last day).

This is the good deed I did for today:

OK so it's the last day of this project and I have to think of something good and big to finish it off with a bang so I decided to do something nice for a friend. So I rang my friend Luke up knowing that he was doing his chores in the afternoon and he said sure. I went and mopped up the laundry, the entrance, the bathrooms and even cleaned his room! I know I made a difference because his mum said wow and thank you and so did my friend. I felt happy because he really needed some help and it always feels nice to help a friend. I think he felt very grateful because if I didn't help him it would have taken him an hour to do all his chores instead of taking only 20 minutes!

Day 16

Thursday 3 July, 2008

This is the good deed I did for today:

Today I pretty much ran out of things to do for my family so I was kind to my little fox terrier dog by taking her for a walk when I was doing my paper round because she hadn't been out all week due to rain. (Trust me doing both at the same time is not easy)! I know I made a difference because she was really excited but I don't know what she said besides Woof. I felt happy because she really needed a walk and I felt sorry for her. I think she felt happy because she was really excited and barked more than usual. (Probably because of birds).

I know I made a difference because he said thank you and we got the job done a lot quicker. I felt happy doing this because he needed the extra help. I think he felt pleased because he usually has to do all of this by himself.

I know I made a difference because he 'gestured' thank you to me and he said that he preferred me supervising him because I let them dive when they went to bowl. I felt nice giving my mum a break because there were too many to manage (20 to be exact) and otherwise if I didn't supervise them he would have had to have his birthday party at home. I think he was grateful because he had a really great time even though he didn't say thank you.

I think they felt a bit baffled at first but then they realized I was for real and accepted it a bit hesitantly -especially my sister- but said they were grateful and I'm sure they were pleased.

Day 1

Wednesday 18 June, 2008

This is the nice thing I did for today:

Today I was kind to my brother by writing out my little brother's birthday invitations for next week, promising to supervise his birthday party, and installing a computer game for him.
I know I made a difference because he 'Gestured' thank you to me and
offered to help me clean my room in return (which I politely declined of course.) I felt happy to do something nice for my brother for once. And I think my brother was feeling a bit surprised and confused -as if 'what's the catch'- because he looked at me all funny, but I'm sure he was happy anyway!
